Manufacturing Controls for DNA-Sensitive Applications
Ciro manufactures consumables for human identification and forensic applications with processes designed to minimize the risk of human DNA contamination. Our manufacturing controls include cleanroom production, reduced human-to-product contact, continual QC, DNA surface testing, employee elimination database procedures, and post-production treatment and testing.
Ciro’s forensic manufacturing program is designed for ISO 18385 compliance, supporting the manufacture of products intended for forensic DNA applications where contamination control is critical. The attached material states that Ciro was prepared for ISO 18385 and had developed its processes around the requirements of the standard.

DesaltingColumns
Chromatography columns are disposable polypropylene spin columns that can be packed with a variety of chromatographic media. These empty columns provide convenience for sample preparation and other small-scale applications. Column has male luer end fittings with snap-off tips, 850 microliter capacity, polyethylene bed supports and are autoclavable. Empty columns can come with matching frits and plugs for use in a variety of resin-based affinity or desalting techniques.
