DNA Free – Surface Decontamination Solution for PCR Workstations, 20L Refill
Couldn't load pickup availability
DNA Free is a ready-to-use, high-performance decontamination solution designed specifically for PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) workstations. It effectively eliminates DNA and RNA contamination from surfaces, lab equipment, and pipettors—helping ensure accurate and reliable PCR results.
DNA contamination poses a serious challenge in PCR due to the high sensitivity of the technique. Even trace amounts of contaminant DNA can result in cross-contamination, leading to inaccurate results and amplification artifacts. DNA Free helps eliminate these risks by thoroughly degrading nucleic acid residues before they can interfere with the PCR process.
How to Use DNA Free
🧼 For Non-Porous Surfaces:
Spray DNA Free directly onto the surface and wipe with a clean paper towel. Rinse thoroughly with DNA-free water, then dry with a fresh towel.
🧪 For Porous Surfaces and Laboratory Equipment:
Spray DNA Free onto a paper towel and use it to wipe down surfaces or equipment. Rinse with DNA-free water and dry with a clean towel.
🧫 For Pipettors:
Disassemble the pipettor following the manufacturer's instructions. Remove gaskets and seals. Soak the shaft in DNA Free for 60 seconds, then rinse thoroughly with DNA-free water, dry completely, and reassemble.
